79. The farm quantifies its direct and undirect GHG emissions and defines a base line in the main stages of production.

Means of verification:

Record of emissions and captures including date, monitoring, period, balance of the following aspects:

Direct GHG emissions

• Stationary combustion.
• Mobile combustion.
• Use of the soil, changes in the use of the soil and silviculture.
• Industrial processes.
• Smoke emissions.

Direct GHG emissions caused by imported energy.

• Imported electricity.
• Another imported energy and/or energy loss due to transmission and distribution (T&D).

Other indirect emissions of GHG.

• Transportation.
• Goods and services.
• Products used in the organization.

*We recommend using the platform Huella Chile to quantify emissions. If it is done by an external company, it must give a report that certifies that the activities made are in accordance with what was asked.
