Visual inspection of the facilities or drinking water dispensers.

ACTION:

124. The farm provides its workers facilities that have the following characteristics:

• Individual or collective bathrooms.
• Spaces protected from sun and rain.
• Locker rooms to change clothing and exterior protective clothing.
• Cafeteria or canteen.
• Areas designed for breaks and resting periods.

Means of verification:

Visual inspection of bathrooms, spaces protected from the sun (outside), lockers, cafeteria or canteen and rest areas.

In the case of family farmers (AFC according to its initials in Spanish) it is valid the inspection of the owner’s house if it is in the farm.

125. The farm makes sure that the persons or families that live permanently or temporarily in the farm have safe and clean lodgings.

Means of verification:

Visual inspection of the lodgings that must have at least water, electricity, bathrooms, ventilation, dry and washable floors, adequate temperatures and pest control.
