ACTION:
36. The farm has a diagnosis identifying existing biodiversity and areas with high ecologic value in its productive surroundings.
Means of verification:
Diagnosis of biodiversity with the following aspects:
- Map identifying the exploitation areas with high ecologic value (for example lakes, ponds and water flows, wild life corridors, wetlands, grasslands rich in species, etc.).
- Cadaster of the biodiversity in the site, for example main species in the surroundings (birds, mammals, trees, insects, fungi, shrubs, etc.).
- Photographic geo-referenced record of the starting condition in the natural vegetative connectivity zone, margins and field borders, river buffering zones and native vegetation conservation areas.
37. The farm has a plan to manage biodiversity with conservation measures using the information from the previously done diagnosis. This plan is evaluated and updated every 5 years.
Means of verification:
Management plan with protocols for the implementation of the following measures:
- Base line of interest area.
- Prioritization and definition of preservation targets.
- Connectivity, restoration and rehabilitation measures
- Management and control measures of exotic species.
- Regulation plan of the property.
