- Accident rate.
- Medical leave.
In the case of small farmers (AFC), who subcontract services during the season, the company must have a record of the aforementioned.
127. The farm has a protocol for emergencies (earthquakes, fires, gas leakages, etc.) or work accidents. The details of the protocol are clearly exhibited in accessible and visible spaces.
Means of verification:
Signposting with emergency or accident protocol that has the following:
- Emergency phones and contact information.
- Basic first aid measures.
- Maps with the location of fire extinguishers and first aid kits.
- Evacuation routes.
ACTION:
128. The farm has a person in charge of the risk prevention program (risk preventionist) or an agreement with a mutual insurance that does this work.
Means of verification:
Contract with a risk preventionist or an agreement with a mutual insurance.
129. The farm makes sure that dangerous labors, including application or handling of high toxicity agrochemical products are carried out only by qualified people.
Means of verification:
Credential of trained pesticides applicators given by SAG (Agricultural and Livestock Service, its initials in Spanish).
130. The farm provides workers manipulating toxic substances, doing dangerous labors or applying pesticides with personal protection attires (EPP, its initials in Spanish) and they also have an area to shower after the applications.
Means of verification:
Record of delivery of personal protection attires with the following information:
- Date.
- Name and last name.
- Attire given.
- Signature.

131. The farm implements a program of risk management for the people that work in it.
Means of verification:
Document with the risk prevention program that considers the following:
- Identification and evaluation of the risks.
- Protection and preventive measures.
- Health monitoring.
- Accident and incident investigation
In the case of family farmers (AFC according to its initials in Spanish), if they subcontract services during the season, the company must have record of the above mentioned.
ACTION:
132. The farm submits to medical examinations, at least once a year, the people that work in it and that are normally exposed to labors that may represent a risk for their health (noise, toxic substances, among others) and informs the results to each one.
Means of verification:
Record that he people that handle agro-chemical products have current medical examinations (at least once a year). For example, preventive blood tests, general examination, cholinesterase test, etc. (Mutual).
In the case of family farmers (AFC according to its initials in Spanish), if they subcontract services during the season, the company must have record of the above mentioned.
