ACTION:

67. The plant elaborates and implements a plan for reduction, control and response against disaster risks that are related to climate change. Its elaboration includes the determination of the historical and projected threats, identifying the minimal resources and capacities needed. The measures of the plan are elaborated based on the detected weaknesses and their prioritization.

Means of verification:

Plan for reduction, control and response against disaster risks that are related to climate change that has at least the following information:

• Threat or danger listing (internal y external) according to its origin and the evaluation of the resources and vulnerabilities to face each one of them.
• Work programs for prevention, answer and recovery.
• Definition of people responsible and mechanisms for the allocation of resources that finance the actions resulting from the plan.
• Conducting simulations and drills.

The plan must be evaluated after each emergency or disaster.

68. The plant monitors the parameters of their own or nearby weather situation to visualize extreme episodes of severe drought, high and low temperatures and heavy rains.

Means of verification:

Record of significative weather events indicating the source of the information (own weather station or information from portals such as http://agroclima.cl/ o http:agrometeorologia.cl/) of the following :

• High temperatures (more than 30°).
• Low temperatures (less than 4°).
• Rains.
• Source of information.

The record must be updated monthly.

69. The plant trains its personnel in a plan for reduction, control and response for disaster risks that are related to climate change to avoid suffering damages or losses due to the threats.

Means of verification:

Record of training implementation: attendance list identifying gender, theme exposed, material exposed, photographic record and certification given. It is verified that at least one of the persons in the area has received the training.
